November 11, 2008, (Sawf News) - After seeing the first rushes of his home production, Billoo Barber, Shah Rukh Khan wasn't impressed with Irrfan Khan's portrayal of a village barber in the film, and summoned a professional barber to teach Irrfan hair cutting.

"Irrfan's role in the film is of a poor village barber. When SRK saw the first rushes of Billoo Barber he didn't find Irrfan doing justice to the role; his body language, hand movements and mannerisms were just not that of a barber," a unit source tells us.

"When the next schedule began, SRK kept Irrfan's hair cutting salon scenes on hold so that he could get properly trained in that skill. A local barber from the near by village was summoned who taught Irrfan how to cut hair for two days! Only after Shah Rukh and director of the film, Priyadarshan, were completely satisfied did the shooting resume," says the source.

"So excited was Irrfan with his newly acquired skill that he started practicing his hair cutting technique even on unit members, who happily volunteered for free haircuts in these days of economic crunch!. By the time the schedule was over, Irrfan was as good as a professional barber!"

Sawf News asked Irrfan about his impromptu training as a barber.

"It has been a great pleasure working along with Shah Rukh Khan," he said. "His commitment and professionalism are extremely enthusiastic."

Billoo Barber is slated to clash with Abhishek Bachchan's Dilli 6 on February 13.

Another source tells us, "SRK wanted to clash the release date along with Aamir Khan's Ghajini on December 25 in order to show everyone who was the real No.1 but the re-shooting and the subsequent delay lead to pushing the film further ahead!"
