Samsung Brings Fantasy Film ‘Eragon’ to Mobile Phones. Photo Credit: SamsungSeoul, Korea, November 21 st , 2006- Samsung is cooperating with film producer Twentieth Century Fox to make the fantasy film Eragon, slated to appear in cinemas soon, available on mobile phones. Eragon, the Christmas blockbuster includes such actors as Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich, Robert Carlyle and Sienna Guillory , begins in cinemas in mid-December.
Samsung mobile phone users in Europe will be able to exclusively receive free mobile contents such as film trailers, screensavers and wallpapers before the premiere of the movie Eragon as they download from the website. (eragon.samsungmobile.com).
The promotional internet and mobile event began simultaneously on November 15th in 15 European countries including U.K. , France , Germany , Italy and Russia. It includes a quiz competition that begins on the 24th of November : Players answering one of the 31 questions correctly go into the raffle draw and have a chance to win the main prize.
The prize in each country is a five-day trip to Hollywood for two people, including a stay at a hotel on the Sunset Strip, $200 spending money and a tour of the Twentieth Century Fox studios. Competition prizes also include limited fan packages from Eragon as day prizes and Samsung mobile. Mobile phone winners will receive an integrated MP3 player with stereo audio streaming function, all packaged in the stand-out attractive, ultra-slim form design of the new Samsung models.
