London, May 16 (ANI): The death of former Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer maybe investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after Scotland Yard detectives concluded that he was not murdered.
Scotland Yard is of the view that Woolmer might have had a heart attack.
Jamaican cops, however, are still saying that they are treating his death as a "murder".
A police spokesman said: "We're still treating his death as murder."
Woolmer, 58, was found dead in his hotel bathroom on March 18, a day after his team crashed out of the World Cup by losing to Ireland.
Forensic and toxicology tests found a broken bone in his neck and a weed killer in his blood.
Yard detectives, according to The Sun, say that a seizure may have made Woolmer fall awkwardly, while the weed killer could have been inhaled from cricket pitches.
"A British inquest would probably record an open verdict into the death," a Yard source was quoted, as saying. (ANI)
