The Katester was accompanied by husband Tom Cruise at a luncheon hosted by Essence magazine to honor three of Hollywood's finest who have helped to change and inspire positive images of Black women in television and film - both in front of the camera and behind-the-scenes."
The three honorees were Ruby Dee - whose career as a writer, producer and world renowned actor spans seven decades, Jada Pinkett Smith - one of Hollywood's most versatile and gifted actress/director/producer/screenwriters and prolific screenwriter/producer Suzanne de Psse.
