The two parties are staying in separate residences, just a short drive apart that are connected by a private beach perfect for long walks at sunset, reports People magazine.
Aniston and Mayer spent their Christmas holidays apart. After promoting her Christmas Day release, Marley & Me, in New York with Mayer by her side, Aniston returned to LA on December 20 and spent Christmas Eve with Courteney Cox, David Arquette and their 4-year-old daughter Coco at Mastro's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills, CA. It was the sixth time in a row that Aniston spent her Christmas with the Arquettes.
Mayer who stayed back in New York spent Christmas with his family before returning to the West Coast with his brothers Carl and Ben on Boxing Day.
Mayer and Aniston had a cozy post-Christmas dinner at Wolfgang's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills that evening,
