While Disney's other popular teen star, Miley Cyrus, may, or may not, be ready to break with the TV Channel after Hannah Montana TV series winds up, going by this video post and her future plans, Selena plans to stick around with the channel for some more time.
Selena will star in a bigscreen adaptation of Wizards of Waverly Place, the Disney Channel TV series about a New York City family whose kids have magical powers, in which she plays Alex Russo.
She has, however, launched her own production company, July Moon Prods., which has partnered with XYZ Films to finance two films that it will produce toplining her.
