The event, created in Fall 2005, gathers a remarkable group of talent from Hollywood and Broadway to celebrate a selection of fabulous musicals and films.

This year's event, co-hosted by Hugh Jackman, once again brought the leaders of the entertainment community together in an intimate setting in Los Angeles for an evening of dining and entertainment to benefit the MTPF. Accompanied by a live orchestra under the baton of the Hollywood Bowl's John Mauceri, a breathtaking array of singers and dancers from film and stage musicals gave breathtaking performances.
The list of performers included Amy Adams, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Sandy Duncan, Victor Garber, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Hugh Jackman, Elijah Kelly, Zachary Levi, Audra MacDonald, James Marsden, Donna Murphy, John Lloyd Young and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
The show was Produced by Laurence Mark and Dan Jinks, directed by Adam Shankman with musical director John Mauceri.
The event benefits the MPTF which offers charitable assistance, residential and retirement care for seniors, healthcare, child care, wellness programs, social services, and much more.
