October 27, 2008, (Sawf News) - While Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have clearly renewed their relationship going by the spate of dates they have been on lately, Aniston may be keeping her options open this time. The Friends star was once again seen getting affectionate with hunky Scottish actor Gerard Butler.
"They were very affectionate to each other," a source told Pagesix. "There was another man at the table, but he looked like he was a chaperone - or just there to stop tongues wagging. They basically ignored him."
Aniston, 39, and Butler, 39, were first seen getting cozy at the Toronto International Film Festival after-party on September 7, before Aniston's reconciliation with John Mayer.
However, Butler had denied any romantic involvement with Aniston. Speaking with E! News at the premiere of his new movie RocknRolla earlier this month, he said, "This came from a seven-minute conversation that we had at the Toronto Film Festival at a big party, and the next minute it's in all the papers,"
Gerard, 39, is best known for his portrayal of King Leonidas in 300 (2006) and The Phantom in the The Phantom of the Opera (2004).
