October 26, 2008, (Sawf News) - Jennifer Hudson and her family have offered a $100,000 reward for the safe return of her nephew Julian King, 7, who has been missing since the fatal shooting of Hudson's mother Darnell Donerson, 57, and her brother, Jason, 29, on Friday October 24, at Donerson's home, in Chicago, Illinois.
Hudson's rep Lisa Kasteler issued a statement Sunday, October 26 saying:
"Jennifer Hudson and her family are offering a reward of $100,000 for the safe return of her nephew Julian King who has been missing since Friday, October 24th. We ask that all inquiries be directed to the Chicago Police Department, Area 1 Detective Division at 312-747-8380. Jennifer and her family appreciate the enormous amount of love, support and prayers they have received while she and her family try to cope with this tragedy and continue the search for Julian."
The FBI is now assisting the Chicago police in its investigations.
"I can confirm that we have been asked to provide assistance to the Chicago police department to assist in the search for 7-year-old Julian King," Ross Rice, special agent and spokesman for the Chicago office of FBI, told People magazine.
