October 26, 2008, (Sawf News) - Refuting recent press reports that Amy Winehouse, 25, was back in rehab, her spokesman says in a statement that the Grammy award winner was rushed to The London Clinic on Saturday, October 25, following a suspected chest infection.
"Amy is in hospital being checked out for a chest infection. She is not back in rehab. She should be fine and is expected to return home soon," he said.
In June 2008, Winehouse's publicist reported that she had developed early signs of what could lead to emphysema.
Her dad, Mitch, an earthy cabdriver had then warned, "Doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it will kill her."
According to Mirror, a doctor made a house call on Amy on Thursday and she got worse over the weekend.
