October 08, 2008, (Sawf News) - Teenaged parents, Jamie Lynn Spears, 17, and her fiancé, Casey Aldridge, 19, have staunchly defended their relationship and rubbished tabloid reports that Casey was unfaithful to Jamie till shortly before the birth of their daughter Maddie Briann on June 19.
It was also reported that Casey had made another woman pregnant.
In August, Kelli Dawson told In Touch magazine that she and Casey got into a serious relationship in Spring 2007 and continued having sex till March 2008, when they stopped because "it just didn't feel right."
But "even after we stopped having sex, we would still kiss occasionally," she claimed.
Referring to the claims by Kelli, a former friend, Casey told OK! magazine for their upcoming issue:
"In a small town, everybody knows everybody. But when money's involved, you find out who your friends are."
He categorically denies having made Kelli pregnant.
"That's news to me," he said.
"That is just completely fabricated," Jamie Lynn added. "He never had an intimate relationship with her, so how would that be possible? Around here, that particular girl is known to make up stories."
Jamie also suggests that Whitney Seals, who claims to have romanced Casey, probably took the cue from Kelli.
"What happened was that one of those girls did it, and in this small town when one of them does it, they're all like, 'Good idea.' They all jumped on the bandwagon."
Jamie says such false reports hurt her because her family has to read them, but they understand the reports are not true. However, she is concerned about Casey's family.
"Casey's family is not used to this," Jamie says. "They might assume it's true!"
