The secret surgery was the reason why she wasn't seen in public following the birth of twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, reports Star magazine in its upcoming October 20 issue.
"She doesn't like to talk about it or admit it, but Angie told some friends that she had a 'mommy tuck,' " a family insider told the magazine. "She likes the way that sounds better than tummy tuck."
Sources claim that the 33-year-old actress started to worry about the size of the stomach during the pregnancy.
