October 02, 2008, (Sawf News) - While her health is getting better her debts are not. Britney Spears has been asked to pay $200,000 to her conservatorship legal team as part payment towards their fees, in a ruling by L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz on September 25.
The Commish also gave Britney's father and co-conservator Jamie Spears authority to sell her Beverly Hills-area home through real estate agent Tomer Fridman of Ewing & Associates in Calabasas, and laid down stipulation that will govern the sale: the selling price must not be less than the court appraised value and Fridman's commission must not exceed 5 percent of the selling price.
The house was put on the market for $7.9 million last month.
Earlier this year, Britney's conservatorship sought permission to sell the property to enable Britney to move to a "lower density, more quiet and less trafficked neighborhood, that is also more accessible to parks and recreation areas," keeping in mind the needs of her toddlers Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2.
