The couple flew into the Italian capital on a holiday a day earlier.
Biel paired her long black skirt and brown bomber leather jacket with golden rimmer brown aviator glasses, black handbag and metallic thong sandals. Her straight blond hair was half tied in a pony and half left down with the eyebrow length bangs covering her forehead.
Bearded Justin, sporting a brown fedora hat and dark sun glasses, wore a bistre Tee and blue jeans with folded cuffs.
Justin, 27, and Biel, 26, have been dating since January 2007 and are reported to be ready to own a home together. They looked at a $2.9 million duplex in Manhattan's Chelsea district. The 2,224 square-foot property has three bedrooms, two baths, 16-foot ceilings, and a sauna.
During the 5th Annual Fashion Rocks concert in NYC on Friday, September 5, Timberlake hinted that wedding bells may soon toll for him and Biel.
Pinched his fingers together to demonstrate, the "Sexy Back" singer and budding fashion designer told friends that he is "this close to being married."
The couple has stayed engrossed in their respective careers during the year. Biel has completed two films: Nailed opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and James Marsden, and the upcoming sci-fi animation Planet 51, in which she does a voice over.
Timberlake's new album is in production and is likely to release in early 2009. He starred in Mike Myers' comedy The Love Guru (released June 20, 2008) and will be seen in Mike Meredith's drama The Open Road.
