Selena's opinion about rock star boyfriends wasn't as significant as the manner in which she expressed it.
Speaking to Ok! magazine about the kind of guys she likes, Selena wouldn't go beyond saying that she liked shy and creative types. When Selena's close friend and Wizard of Waverly Place co-star Jennifer Stone was asked the same question, her response triggered an interesting reaction from Selena Gomez.
"I really like the shabby-looking guys, like Johnny Depp and Emile Hirsch," Jennifer said. "And I am always attracted to actors - it's not good, but, hey, at least its not rock stars!"
The reference to rock stars drew a squeal of protest from Selena who was then asked to confirm she wasn't against rock star boyfriends.
"No, I'm not. I'm going to say that - no I'm not," Selena said.
