Josh, 30, entered the hotel quiet late with his soon to be sex tape leading lady and headed for the library, though his pursuit was anything but intellectual.
Unfortunately for him and his female companion the area where they performed had security cameras trained on it precisely for the reason that Hartnett chose it - its seclusion.
Hotel staff that quickly gathered around CCTV monitor were treated to a breathtaking no holds barred performance.
"Josh didn't seem bothered that the library wasn't locked and anyone could just burst in. He just kind of went for it," a source told The Daily Mirror.
His stellar performance notwithstanding, Josh was later "asked to take his personal business elsewhere in future" and advice that he took in good spirit.
