August 28, 2008 (Sawf News) - David Duchovny, who plays FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder on The X-Files, has entered rehab for sex addiction, his lawyer told 'People' magazine.
"I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction," the actor says in an exclusive statement. "I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family."
Duchovny, 48, married actress Téa Leoni on May 6, 1997. The couple has two children: Madelaine West Duchovny (b. April 24, 1999) and Kyd Miller Duchovny (b. June 15, 2002) and live in their home in Malibu, California.
