"But too bad they're not," says Demi.
Demi, who co-starred with the Jonas Brothers in the recently released Disney film Camp Rock, and who provides the opening for the band on their currently underway Burning Up Tour, was effusive in her praise for the siblings, speaking with OK! at 2008 Arthur Ashe Kids Day.
"They're basically like my brothers," she said. "They'll always have my back no matter what situation... They're hilarious guys, and also they've got really big hearts that people don't always see."
"And they're very protective of me," she added.
Demi also confirmed that she is "definitely not dating anybody."
Her debut album, Don't Forget is set for release on September 23.
The music video of her first single Get Back released on Friday, August 22 after the Disney Channel Original Movie The Cheetah Girls: One World.
