Pitt will walk the red carpet at the festival on September 5 along with the cast of the Ethan Coen's crime comedy Burn After Reading; a film about a disk containing the memoirs of a CIA agent which ends up in the hands of two unscrupulous gym employees who attempt to sell it.
Aniston is expected to walk the red carpet two days later for the Stephen Belber's romantic comedy Management, the story of a traveling art saleswoman who tries to shake off a flaky motel manager who falls for her and won't leave her alone.
Aniston dated John Mayer from April 2008 to the middle of August 2008.
Aniston married Brad Pitt on July 29, 2000, following a high profile relationship.
The marriage was initially considered a rare Hollywood success story. However, cracks began to surface in their marriage late in 2004 and they announced their separation on January 7, 2005.
