In a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Miami, the distributor is seeking $75,000 in damages from Hilton for failing to provide "reasonable promotion and publicity" for the movie, reports E!Online.
Considering that the film is ranked #15 in the bottom 100 films listed on IMDB, it is moot if more efforts from Hilton could have changed its fortunes in anyway. Besides starring in the film Paris is also listed as its executive producer.
Paris Hilton's Oscar ambitions currently rest on her upcoming horror film Repo! The Genetic Opera made at a cost of $45 million, her biggest project as a lead star.
