Photo Credit: Splash NewsAugust 12, 2008 (Sawf News) - In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM show Tuesday morning, August 12, Selena Gomez took a cue from Nick Jonas on how to fend off questions about their current relationship.
Seacrest tried to lure her into opening up saying:
“You know all the Jonas brothers. Is there one that you are closer to than the other?”
“No. I mean…I think…Kevin is like another brother to me…so he is pretty awesome,” replied Gomez.
“Nick got a little squeamish when we talked to him about you…but in a way that I think was endearing and the story is that the two of you are dating and don’t want to talk about it. What can you tell us?” Seacrest persisted.
"Well, he's an amazing guy, Ryan. Anybody would be very lucky to be dating him," Selena told him.
Last week on Tuesday, August 5, Seacrest had asked Nick if he was dating Selena and his response was.
"Well she is an amazing girl and anyone would be lucky to be dating her."
However, Selena did innovate when pressed, unlike Nick who kept repeating his line.
"I'm close to all the brothers," she said.
Interestingly, Kevin was recently spotted wearing a tee with 'Team Demi and Selena' emblazoned on it.
Selena discounted tabloid rumors that Kevin’s attire had anything to do with a rumored feud between her and Miley. She claimed that she and Demi were a bowling team which had Kevin’s support.
“Is there any issue between Demi, Selena, and Miley and Mandy…any drama any problems?” Seacrest asked.
“Absolutely not,” said Selena
“How do you feel about Miley’s success and how do you think she feels about yours?”
“I think she is wonderful with what she does and I am so happy for all the success that she is getting.”
