Celebrity gossip site Perezhilton.com pointed out Monday, August 4, as to how the two tripped to out the truth.
Speaking to Twist magazine, Selena said:
"While we were slow dancing…my crush and I had our first kiss! After it, I leaned back and I said, 'You cheated.' And he said, 'Why' and I said, 'I don't kiss on the first date.' Then he said, 'Well, I never really play by the rules. '"
Speaking with Girls Life magazine, Nick said:
"On one date, the girl said to me, 'I don't kiss on the first date.' So I said, 'I don't follow the rules.'"

Speculation that Selena, 16, and Nick, 15, maybe an item heightened after Rolling Stone published their photo in the August issue of the magazine.
Gomez was earlier seen dancing with all three of the Jonas Brothers at the Disney Channel Games in Orlando, Fla., in March.
However, a rep for the Jonas Brothers says, "They are not girlfriend and boyfriend. They're friends. All of the Jonas Brothers are friends with Selena."
