July 28, 2008 (Sawf News) - The mystery passenger with Shia LaBeouf at the time of his truck's accident early Sunday morning on July 27, was Isabel Lucas, his co-star in the upcoming film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
The 23-year-old Australian actress, who was in the passenger seat when another car hit Shia's truck, was treated for minor injuries at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. along with LaBeouf, who was also arrested on suspicion of DUI.
LaBeouf, who featured in the recent film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, partied at the Troubadour club on Santa Monica Blvd in L.A. Saturday night and watched the Lemon Son band play before the accident.
"He was dancing around and acting really crazy," a source told Usmagazine.com. "He kept doing shots of whiskey.
"He stayed until the band was done and then stumbled out of the club by himself," the source added.
LaBeouf, 22, was charged with misdemeanor DUI because "officers at the scene determined that neither his passenger, nor the other driver, were seriously injured."
"Shia is currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month," his lawyers said in the statement.
