A California judged Judge signed a custody settlement reached between Britney Spears and her former husband Kevin Federline on Friday, July 25, making it official.
Under the terms of the settlement reached on Thursday, July 17, the pop star will get an additional overnight with her sons, Sean Preston (b. September 14, 2005) and Jayden James (b. September 12, 2006), by the end of this year, provided her recovery from mental health problems remains on track. Britney is currently allowed two visits and one overnight with her toddlers.
She will also step up her child support payments to Federline from $15,000 / month to $20,000 / month.
Additionally, Britney will pay Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, $250,000 in fees.
"She's thrilled," Britney's attorney Laura Wasser told People. "To have more time with her kids has been her motivation to get well. In light of her outstanding conservatorship, she couldn't have asked for anything more."
