July 12, 2008 (Sawf News) - Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins by caesarean section on Saturday, July 12, at Lenval hospital in Nice, France, sources told Us magazine. The newborns and their celebrity mother, a mother of all celebrities, are in fine health.
The first baby was born at 6:45 pm (France time) and the second 15 minutes later.

A local newspaper quoting Jolie’s gynecologist Michel Sussmann says the twins are named Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. Knox Leon weighed in at 5 lbs and Vivienne Marcheline at 5.02 lbs.
The two new bundles of joy pushed up the count of the Jolie-Pitt brood to half a dozen. They will soon join their four existing siblings Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; Shiloh, 2 at their 1,000-acre, $70 million, 35 bedrooms estate in South France, a property leased by the celebrity couple for three years.
Doubts was raised about the authenticity of the initial news reports, when Nadine Bauer, a spokeswoman for the hospital, told Extra, "It is wrong information."
However, Associated Press has since confirmed the news from Jolie’s doctor.
Jolie's lawyers have bought all domain name combinations derived from the names of the newly born fraternal twins, just as they did when Shiloh was born.
