Amy, 24, recently admitted to taking drugs even while in rehab.
"I've never been to rehab - I mean, done it properly. I'm young, and I'm in love, and I get my nuts off sometimes," Amy told Rolling Stones Magazine.
"To be honest, my husband's away, I'm bored, I'm young. I felt like there was nothing to live for. It's just been low ebb."
Following the shocking confession, the troubled singer, who has won five Grammy awards, was put under 24 hour watch by her recording label.
A guard has been posted at the entrance to her house in Camden North London and no one can enter without approval.
Amy was hospitalized for 10 days, after she collapsed on June 14, and was diagnosed with lung scarring that could lead to emphysema.
