Photo Credit: Splash NewsJune 26, 2008 (Sawf News) - Amy Winehouse, who was recently hospitalized for a week after she collapsed on June 14, was spotted picking up three mini bottles of Vodka and Whiskey from a London store on Thursday, June 26, after a visit to Pentonville Prison to meet her jailed husband, Blake Fielder-Civil.
The Grammy award winning singer has been diagnosed with lung scarring that could lead to emphysema, an incurable disease that would require her to be on Oxygen for the rest of her life.
The lung scarring was likely caused by exposure to toxic chemicals (drugs) or tobacco smoke.
Shortly after her release from hospital on Monday, Amy was seen smoking.
Ironically, Amy was a no show today at a photocall with her contemporaries participating in Friday's concert at London's Hyde Park to celebrate Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday, opting to visit her husband in prison instead.
Though Amy has been rehearsing for the gig her absence from the photocall is likely to have unsettled the organizers.
