The 27-year-old singer appeared on 'The View,' which is being aired from Las Vegas this week, on Wednesday, June 25, to promote her debut country music album, Do You Know, which is scheduled to be released on September 9.
Asked if her relationship with Dallas Cowboys QB, Tony Romo, was any stronger now and whether wedding bells could be in the offing, she responded:
"We've been together for … seven to almost eight months now. I don't really know about wedding bells … I still love him, and I'm still with him, so that's a good sign."
Simpson, whose marriage to Nick Lachey in October 2002 lasted just over three years, is understandably guarded about her new relationship, but her enthusiasm for it was evident when she told 'the ladies' that she planned to arrange her schedule so that she can attend all of Tony's games when the football season starts!
She was also upbeat about her sister, Ashlee Simpson's recent wedding and pregnancy.
"[Ashlee] sent me a picture of her belly. She's popping, it's so cute!" she said.
Simpson, 27, started dating Romo, 28, in November 2007. She earlier dated rocker John Mayer for over nine months.
