Photo Credit: Jackson Lee / Splash News/FileMay 18, 2008 (Sawf News) - Ashlee Simpson married fiancé Pete Wentz in an intimate wedding ceremony, attended by family and friends only, at the Simpson's family home in Encino, California, on Saturday, May 17.
"We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends," said their spokesperson.
Ashlee, 23, wore an ivory colored lace Monique Lhuillier wedding gown and accessorized with a diamond necklace and earrings by Neil Lane, reports People.
Ashlee's father, Joe Simpson, solemnized the wedding with a non-denominational ceremony in which her elder sister Jessica served as the maid of honor. Wentz's English bulldog, Hemingway, was the ring-bearer.
Amongst the 150 guests that attended were Jessica's boyfriend, Tony Romo, Nicole Richie, Joe Madden, and actor Donald Faison with girlfriend CaCee Cob.
Ashlee, who is pregnant with Pete's baby, started to date the Fallout Boy bassist in late 2006. The two were initially coy about their relationship. The couple announced that they were engaged on April 9, 2008.
