May 3, 2008 (Sawf News) - Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes attended the Broadway play "The Country Girl" at the Bernard B Jacobs Theatre in New York City on Saturday, May 03. Holding hands they beamed at the camera.
Appearing on the Oprah Winfrey show Friday, May 02, Tom spoke about all the controversies surrounding him - his relations with Katie's family and his former wife Nicole Kidman, his career and his faith in Scientology.

"They're amazing. I love them. They're such amazing people, and you see why Kate is such an amazing woman. Incredible integrity and strength and they're family," was how Tom described Katie's family.
Refuting rumors that he had excluded former wife Nicole Kidman from the life of their adopted children Bella and Connor's lives, he said, "No, that's ridiculous. We share custody. [She can see them] whenever. Whenever."

Tom and Oprah met at Tom's home in Telluride, Colorado, for Part I of the two part interview. The second part will air on Monday.
Katie appeared briefly in part one, as she walked out of the house, holding Tom's hand. She greeted Oprah and showed her Suri's ladybug shoes, before driving away to town with the kids
