Photo Credit: Splash NewsMarch 24, 2008 (Sawf News) - A Court of Appeals rejected a legal challenge by attorney Jon Eardley to the conservatorship created to oversee Britney Spears and her estate Monday, March 24, without bothering to ask the conservators to file a response.
Last month a Federal court admitted the challenge and sought the conservators' comments, putting the case in a limbo in the State Court, before rejecting it and sending it back to the State court, Tuesday, February 26.
Eardley's claim that he represents Britney was rejected by the Federal court since the probate found that she was incapable of retaining her own counsel.
According to phone transcripts obtained by OK!, Britney did speak to Eardley shortly, after the conservatorship was created on February 2, over a conference call setup by a paparazzi friend.
In the transcripts, Britney can be heard speaking in a British accent saying:
"Basically I want my life back. I want to drive my car. I want to live in my house alone. I want to pick my own security, see who I want to see and make it happen."
