Last week the tattoo went missing. Erased! You could say one change in Britney's life is skin deep!
Britney spent $2,000 to have the tattoo laser removed, a source told OK!
"When she got the tattoo, Britney was in control of her life and her career," says another Britney friend. "The whole world can see she's lost control, and the tattoo made her feel like a hypocrite."
Interestingly, the paparazzi hoard outside her studio city home, diligently keeping tabs on the recovering pop wreck, never saw her go for tattoo removal. So was it done at home?
Anyway, Britney's first full day at work, rehearsing for her guest appearance on CBS' How I Met Your Mother, was an exhilarating experience.
"Everyone, including the cast, the crew and the producers, has been wonderful," says Britney
She readily identifies with the character she plays in the episode - Abby, an endearing, sweet receptionist in a dermatologist's office who is smitten by Ted, (Josh Radnor) who is desperate to have a tattoo removed.
"Abby is such a fun girl to play," Britney says. "I'm having a blast!"
The episode will be filmed Friday night in LA and air on Monday, March 24 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT).
