© AFP/Getty Images/File29 December 2007 (Sawf News) - Nicole Kidnam and husband Keth Urban told their families over the Christmas holidays that they are expecting a baby.
Kidman spent her Christmas holiday in Sydney, after completing work on Baz Lurhmann directed film Australia on December 21, reports Daily Mail.
Kidman and Urban maintain homes in Sydney and Nashville, Tennessee.
Kidman will take a break from films after completing work on Stephen Daldry directed The Reader in which she co-stars with Ralph Fiennes. "I just want to spend as much time as possible with my husband," she told the Daily Mail. Kidman has two adopted children - 14-year-old Isabella, and 12-year-old Connor - from her 11 year marriage with Tom Cruise which ended in 2001.
The 40-year-old Moulin Rouge star married Urban on Sunday June 25, 2006 in Sydney. Early this year Kidman said she wanted to have a baby but Keith was keen they spend time alone as a couple first.
In October there were reports that Urban "finally realized just how much having a baby means to her."
