Washington, Nov 14 (ANI): Former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson will be serving up dinner to the homeless in Las Vegas as a Thanksgiving feast.

The 40-year-old actress will be dishing up a vegetarian dinner at an unnamed homeless centre as part of a People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) drive to turn the poor onto a healthier lifestyle.

"The holiday season can be especially hard for those who find themselves homeless, and it's murder on turkeys. With so many healthy and delicious options nowadays, it's easy to have a holiday meal that gives even turkeys something to be thankful for," Anderson said.

PETA spokesman Michael McGraw said that they wanted to keep the venue of the place a secret.

"We want to keep the venue a secret because it's really just for Pam and those she's serving. It's not for fans and autograph seekers. The dinner itself will be a feast - Gardein's Veggie Stuffed Turkey Roast With Wild Rice and Cranberries. It's a delicious faux turkey," McGraw said.

He also said that Anderson was thrilled to serve up the health benefits of a meatless diet to the poor.

"Pam, who has been vegetarian since she was a teenager, is thrilled to serve up the health benefits of a meatless diet," he said. (ANI)
