London, July 9 (ANI): A woman is said to have fainted at former US President Bill Clinton's feet when he visited a hotel in Birmingham, and his sex appeal was to blame.
According to The Mirror, the incident is said to have taken place at the Birmingham hotel, where Clinton was staying for the 1998 G-8 summit.
Spotting the then President going into a nearby lift, the woman was taken over to meet Clinton by Alistair Campbell, a close aide of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and she fainted after just 30 seconds of conversation.
Campbell also reveals how Tony Blair was completely unfazed by Clinton's affair with White House intern Monica Lewinski.
He says of the Prime Minister's reaction: "He said every leader's got to be able to let go a bit and Bill - that was his way of letting go." (ANI)
