Photo Credit: Disney PicturesMelbourne, May 10 (ANI): Now that the final chapter of Pirates adventure trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, is ready to hit the theaters around the world, rumor has it that there will be a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
But producer Jerry Bruckheimer has hinted that if at all there is a fourth pirates movie, it will be a spin- off.
Bruckheimer, in an interview with The Herald Sun, said that the Pirates of the Caribbean series end with the third movie.
“This is the end [of the current trilogy], but whether one of the characters or a couple of the characters continue on, it’s a possibility. Certainly, in a moment at the end of the film there is a hope that something else might happen,” Moviehole quoted Bruckheimer, as telling the paper.
Geoffrey Rush seconded Bruckheimer’s claim, saying that a fourth film is possible, but it just might not star Johnny Depp as the famous Captain Jack Sparrow.
“Inevitably they may think about it, but Johnny may say, ‘Pah, I’ve burnt out Jack. I couldn’t go there again’. Or he may not. I certainly know he wouldn’t say ‘Hey, treble my fee and I’ll do it,” Rush said. (ANI)
They have to make a Pirates 4 to keep up Walt Disney's legacy of the two rides at Disneyland and Disney World. They better have a Pirates of the Caribbean 4. I loved Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End, BUT they did not sum up everything, they left a bunch of questions that needed answering. For example: What happened to Elizabeth Swan? Where was she? Why did the crew of the Flying Dutchman turn back in to humans? What happened to Jack Sparrow, and the crew? Just a lot of unanswered questions at the end.
The end wasn't an end, usually when a movie is going to end they sum up everything, but they didn't in this movie, which leads everyone to believe there will be a 4th. I was in the theater last night, and people coming out were talking about wanting there to be a 4th, that it wasn't right to leave it at 3. After I watched the movie, the same thing was said, even by myself, and my husband.
My Daughter of 3 loves Jack Sparrow, and I thought it was funny when she asked me, "What happened to Jack Sparrow, mommy?" I really couldn't answer the question. I hope and pray they make a 4th, and sum it up then. All 3 Pirate movies are awesome, and definitely the greatest success since Star Wars 4, 5 and 6, maybe even better. MAKE Pirates 4, I already have a great idea of what it would be like. :)
If they do not have the entire cast Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, and definitely Jack Sparrow, it will not be a Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and I will probably not watch it, I bet a lot of other people won't either. Tons of people love Jack Sparrow, so he can't leave because he makes Pirates, Keira Knightley can't leave because she taunts Jack Sparrow, and he really can't live without her, and Orlando Bloom is the Captain of the Flying Dutchman and he is married to Keira and can't live without her as well. They are all tied in together, and if one leaves, then it isn't Pirates. They all need to be back, because questions need answered for all three of them, and much more.

I believe that they must make a 4th POTC film because of the ending. You cannot just have Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann-Turner get married and then have the spin of the very end credit, and then say "Ope! Sorry! No more love
for those two." It would ruin all of the hard work of that love story.
While I think in order to have a POTC 4 they need at least Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, AND Johnny Depp, if they fill in too many others as those characters I fear the film will become "unworthy" and not be as entertaining, as well as confusing with the new characters that are supposedly the same. Will and Elizabeth cannot be that much in love and yet only see each other that little (if you have seen the film you know how long). They must have a 4th Pirate movie to completely resolve it all and therefore they will, I hope.

You could make one about Jack re-uniting with Barrbossa and make them go to the fountain of youth and face an even darker foe, William Turner could find a way to not be captain of the Dutchman and be together with Elizabeth but, they are caught up by a gang of Pirates and are saved by Jack and Barrbossa. You could make the foe, the undeed Kraken or something.

Some people didnt appreciate the amount of video time played in POTC 3. I dont feel the same and probably couldnt get enough pirates after watching this one. If a new POTC comes out it must have Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, and Orlando Bloom to make the movie complete.
I must say that watching this movie has me wanting more. Its been a very long time since any movie left me standing alone. I've seen the first and second movie but for some reason this one stands out to a point of no return. Perhaps if another movie comes out it could be POTC 4 "War of the gods"

At the end of the movie(after 5 minutes of credits) it howed 10 years into the future and she was waiting on sea side hill top waiting on the ship with Will to come see her. Was their child stading with her a boy or girl..I couldnt tell.??

I would just like to say,there has to be another pirates of the caribbean movie! I am that movie's biggest fan! I have got over 10 posters of it in my bedroom!!! I have also got both movies on DVD, the Pirates of the Caribbean stationary, two Jack Sparrow's adventure books and the Pirates of the Caribbean Dead mans chest book!
Please, please, please, make Pirates of the Caribbean 4!!! Or maby a Pirates of the Caribbean 5,6 and 7! But of course it has to star: Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, Orlando Bloom and even Captian Barrbossa!!! The story could be about "The war of the Gods!" like Neil said, The fountian of Youth, and the Bermuda Triangle. If you add all three of these idea's together and then maby add something about Elizabeth Swann and Captian Jack Sparrow some how freeing Will Turner from the Flying Dutchman, before Elizabeth and Will had their child. Then in the end of the story Elizabeth could bring her farther back from the dead with Will Turner and Captian Jack Sparrow.
I have also heard that in the 4th movie Ca ptian Jack Sparrow has flash backs about his childhood,you could also add that in with the other three ideas and connect it all together.
If you like that story, please use it to make Pirates of the Caribbean 4 and maby it continue to the 5th movie! You could add more ideas to it, and then if you want make Pirates of the Caribbean 6,7 and so on.I will always love that movie!!! If the stars need a brake you could just wait for a year or two like the first pirates of the caribbean movie!!!
All the other fans and I will wait a little, just please make another movie or two of the Pirates of the Caribbean!

I would like to state my opinion that there should be another Pirates of the Caribbean. The reason I think this is because in the third movie lots of questions were left unanswered. I think that if that was the ending movie that all of the questions should be answered so viewers like me and many others, would not be wondering what happens to Will Turner, Elizabeth Swan, and Captain Jack Sparrow.
It would be very nice to see the future of Elizabeth and Will. Another scene that seems to be unanswered is where did Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew go. This last movie has been hard to follow and understand I hope that if you make a fourth it will some up the questions that have been unanswered in this last movie.
Don’t get me wrong I did enjoy this last movie I would just like to see what happens next. It feels like other viewers and I are left hanging, not knowing what is going to happen. Please make a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean so we know what happens next. Please, Please, Please make a fourth one!

I think that they need to make a POTC 4 because we need to break the ten year curse so that elizabeth and Will can be free to love each other-not just see her every ten years. everyone who sees the third Pirates needs to see it again so that they can see the very end of the credit where elizabeth is on the island with her son ten years and Will is coming back. still not and ending and i think that an end to pirates of the caribbean is almost kind of scary. im only 13 and ive been loving and watching these movies since they came out when i was younger. people who were disapointed with the 2nd or 3rd should cry a river, build a bridge and get over it because every movie has at least one fan and i know that im that fan if noone else is. Jerry bruckheimer needs to convince Johnny Depp as far as he can to be in the next movie because even if its disapponting this trilogy needs an ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Pirates of the Caribbean more than ANY OTHER movie!! I'm so excited about the 4th movie!!! but if Kiera Knightly, Orlando Bloom, AND Johnny Depp aren't in the movie playing their ORIGINAL characters the movie will NEVER be the same or as good. I love Captain Jack Sparrow because Johnny Depp plays him AMAZING!!! And if Orlando Bloom AND Kiera knightly aren't in it to see each other again it will disappoint a lot of people!!! The 4th movie shouldn't cut out ANY of the main characters (Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Kiera Knightly) and the movie will be a success!!!!

And you have got to have all the characters back because it really sucks when they make another movie and the characters are not the same it just ruins the movie!!!! Well, I agree with you all, but I think there is a possibility that POTC could be like the Star Wars movies ( I don't mean that they'll be backwards or be about space!) I mean they could make Will's son the star and let little Will (A.K.A.Will&Elizabeth's son) go on to more POTC movies!!!! And also, did any one forget that Elizabeth is the Pirate Queen of the Brotheren Court and the captain of the Singapore pirates!?! So Elizabeth could go to Singapore and get a boat and find Jack Sparrow to break the Will's curse but Jack will probably want something in return.
PS PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER MOVIE WE CAN'T WAIT WE WANT AN ANSWER ASAP!!!!

I don’t think there is a need for a fourth POTC. We know that every ten years Will and Elizabeth get to see each other. She will go on as the pirate king. Will will remain captain of the Flying Dutchman. And dear old Jack is right back where he started: chasing after the Pearl and seeking treasure. Really, I think it is just a big circle and for me it feels complete. If Disney does make a new one I think that it should contain different characters, BUT, I think it would be a very touchy thing. You don’t want to ruin an already amazing thing. Overall, I say leave it alone.

I LOVE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEN!!! I think i like the third the best. Alot of people has questions about the third if you wach it again the only question you will have is there going to be a forth. Like several other people have said, just continue the story with the fountain of youth, the Bermuda Triangle, and GET WILL TURNER OUT OF THE FLYING DUTCHMAN SITUATION!!! He and Elizabeth HAVE to get together. I don't mean every ten years!
If the stars (Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp, and Keira Knightly, and the rest of the other important characters) want to take a break, then give it a few years and then make the next one. And then maybe a 5,6,7... If all the Star Wars and Harry Potter movies can continue that long, pirates MOST DEFINATELY can.
I don't care if I have to wait a few years for the next movie, I just want there to BE another movie, With the same stars. (It wouldn't be pirates without, Keira, Orlando, and Johnny) Jack Sparrow/Johnny Depp is not getting old and definitely not worn out.
So many people will be so upset if there isn't anoher movie. There is just something about the pirates movies that make them the best movies of all time. I've seen the first and second one a billion times, but no matter what I always end up watching them when I come across them on TV. I just can't stay away.

It's obvious they will make another "Pirates", they left it wide open at the end. Where it will go, that's the question. Not Captain Jack Sparrow trying to get the Black Pearl back again. Too boring. More monsters... naaa. What about a future Jack? A Captain Jack with tales to tell? Maybe Will Turner gets off the Flying Dutchman or him and Elizabeth get married and steer the Dutchman on a whole new corse? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Look, i read an interview with Johnny Depp, and he said whether make a new one or not, he's not through with CaptainJack. And, i agree with that. HEAR, HEAR Johnny.
If they make anoher one, it had better have the following...
1) all the main characters/ actors the same (Johnny Deep(jack) Keira Knightly (elizabeth0 and Orlando Bloom (Will))
2) Will and elizabeth ghetting back together
3) Will getting out of the "Flying Dutchman" situation (but better that than dead, right?)
4) Jack being Jack (drunk, hilarious, and a bit Effeminate.
5) A new, awesome adventure. (thaqt's expected and undoubtable.) (i klnow, 'undoubtable' isn't a word.)
Well, that's my take. but seriously, I'm OBSESSED with this movie. my Will/Jack poster hangs above my bed. i paper my folders with the Pirates pictures. i've got ALL the books and movies (except the third one) with a lunch box, outfit, and pencil pouch to boot. I draw them and dream about them. even imagine i'm talking to them. (no, i'm not psychotic)

Listen, there has to be a pirates of the carribean 4 without a doubt. Pirates of the carribean is the best movie ever made. I watch all of them like 3 times a week. I was totally lost at the end of part 3. What I want to know is..... Where's Barbossa and the pearl going? Jack Sparrow looked at a map that showed the fountain of youth. Where is he going? His compass pointed towards the direction that Barbossa just sailed. Barbossa has his ship. Jack can't make it without his ship. The pearl is his for crying out loud! Jack said many times that he will get the pearl back. I mean,
Yes, Elizabeths father is dead, Norrington is dead, and the captain of the East India trading company. But it wasn't all about them anyway. Elizabeth and Will can make a family. Jack can find the fountain of youth and get his ship back. Maybe there can be another army in the place of the East India trading company. What about Calypso? and Davy Jones? Barbossa was brought back. why can't Davy Jones? I can't live without a pirates of the Carribean 4. and you can't just leave the viewers clueless about what happened to everyone. If there is a 4th tho, you definitely have to have Jack Sparrow #1, Elizabeth and Will, and Barbossa. It just wouldn't be pirates of the Carribean without all of them in it. No one can take their place. We also have no clue about what happened to Jack's crew. Where is Mr.Gibbs going with the two ladies. he mentioned something about sea turtles. Excellent, excellent, excellent, keep them going Jerry! Based on the way POTC 3 ended there are allot of questions,
what happens to Will and Elizabeth, what happens to Sparrow and Barbossa, etc? You can't just end the trilogy
the way it did. One key item is you must absolutely bring back the same cast (Johnny, Kiera, Orlando, Geoffrey)
without them it won't be the same. I'd feel let down as a huge fan, if the story did not continue.

There has to be a 4th POTC because at the end they need to go and find the Fountain of Yuth! What happens to Elizabeth and Will, they cant be separated for ever and not to see each other until 10 years. Barbossa has to do something to get the map back from Jack Sparrow.And a another thing is, is that if there is not another Pirates of the Caribbean the ride will be over! None should leave the movie it just would not be the same!!:

I would love for there to be a 4th film but I am not sure weather it would be a good idea or not. The main characters such as Captain Jack, Will, Elizabeth and Barbosa should definitely be in it. There are loads of ideas they could go with, they could go down the “Fountain of Youth” path and somehow amalgamate Will Turner and the Flying Dutchman or they could do a prequel and tell the story of how Jack lost the Pearl to Barbosa in the first place.
Whatever the story line is I would go and see it I love the 3 films so far and never get tired of watching them.

He said that as long as the script is good that he'd want to be in it!!! So saying that Johnny Depp might not be in this one is completely wrong!! Of all the questions about Elizabeth and Will, on the DVD go to credits and fast forward through all of them. You will see a picture that says ten years later. Watch that little clip and tell me if all the love is gone.
As for Callypso I think that Will should have a deal with her. That he is bound to the sea but Elizabeth a come with him if she so chooses. And the son becomes mixed up with Captain Jack Sparrow and he must decide whether living forever as a pirate is really worth it.

I certainly hope there is a fourth. POTC has me at the edge of my seat throughout the movie. You know, at the end of the movie, Captain Jack goes after the "Fountain of Youth" or something like that. With Bruckheimer's writing skills, and good ol' "Witty Jack", the movie should be another success. Besides, what about Tia Dalma (or Collipso)? She couldn't have left the trilogy as a bunch of crabs or as a massive storm. That's kind of lame... There were several gaps left to fill!

I really hope there will be a POTC 4!!!! There just has to be:) I heard rumors that if there is one that JOHNNY DEPP would not be captain jack. WHAT? That would be stupid nobody would watch it. JOHNNY DEPP is freakin awesome. i love him, and really hope that he will soon again be caption jack again.
