© AFP Gabriel Bouys05 May 2007 (Sawf News) - Paris Hilton's mother, Kathy, was very agitated after the verdict against her daughter was pronounced. According to TMZ, she went up to the public prosecutor and said "I want your autograph. This is pathetic."
More intriguingly, as she walked out of the courtroom Kathy said, "I can't believe all the money we spent on this."
It is likely Kathy was more upset than she ought to have been because despite being asked to serve 45 days in prison, Paris may not serve even a single day. As a result of overcrowding in jails offenders awarded light sentences are often let off shortly following their incarceration.
Former "Lost" star Michelle Rodriguez, who was sentenced to 60 days in jail for similarly having violated her probation over a DUI conviction, was let go after just 2 hours at the very same correctional facility - Century Regional Detention Facility (CRDF).
