Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson in a scene from 'Die Hard: With a Vengeance' (1995)
Washington, May 1 (ANI): Die Hard star Bruce Willis has expressed his apprehension about reprising the role of John McClane in his new flick Live Free or Die Hard a.k.a. Die Hard 4.
Willis said he was getting too old to return to the role of the tough detective Lieutenant.
In the new film, which releases in July, police detective McClane, assisted by a hacker sidekick, tries to stop a plan to devastate the computer systems supporting the US economy.
The 52-year-old star told Vanity Fair magazine that filming some scenes proved more difficult than he expected.
"A lot of the physical stuff that they had me doing [when filming] was still, let's say, low-tech. I don't bounce as well off the concrete floors as I used to. There are those 'ouch' moments that actually hurt,” the magazine quoted him as telling.
"It gets really un-fun on take two, you know? You hope they got it in take one," he said.
Bruce added that, regardless of the pain he had no regrets for returning to play his renowned character.
"I'm glad I didn't wait a couple more years to do this," he said. (ANI)
