In Touch reports, the Legally Blonde star has a case of cold feet since their relationship became public recently.
“Reese was more comfortable dating Jake when no one else knew about it,” says a friend of Reese. “Now there seems to be a little too much scrutiny and she’s uncomfortable.”
An insider told that Reese’s Rendition costar Gyllenhaal was disappointed with her decision, “he really likes Reese and wants to get closer.”
Recently single, Reese reportedly turned down Gyllenhaal’s invitation to spend few days with him at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara.
”She wants to take things slowly,” told a pal. “She even told Jake to date other people until she’s ready to commit.”
Reese, 31, split with husband Ryan Phillippe last October after seven years of marriage.
