"I think it's fantastic if Idol has evolved and I think it's fantastic she won't have to go through what I went through four years ago," Frenchie Davis told the New York Post.
Frenchie Davis, also an American Idol contestant from season 2, was sent packing from the Idol for appearing once on an adult Web site.
"But if the rules have changed, I believe there should be something to make up for the fact that I was humiliated needlessly," Davis added.
Davis, 27 was upfront about her photographs when she auditioned for the show and said her experience with the Idol in 2003 was "very painful experience.”
According to TMZ.com, Barba’s racy photos have also earned her scorns from some of the religious female contestants.
Barba’s ex-castmates having been booted off the show last week dished about her, according to People.com.
“She is a trooper,” pal Alaina Alexande said. “Antonella’s strong and she’s going to be just fine.”
“I knew getting into this that it wasn’t just about singing. I did a little research about who [in previous seasons] was eliminated when and what their voices sounded like. There’s really no formula. If someone has a personality, sometimes that will take them way farther than a good voice,” said Leslie Hunt, another ex-contestant.
On Tuesday's The View, Rosie O'Donnell jumped in on the scandal addressing the fact that Frenchie Davis was booted off American Idol.
"I think it's racist. I do," said O'Donnell, in reference to Davis, "I think it's because she's black."

I think they should either issue Frenchie an apology and kick off Antonella Barba or they should say "hey we made a mistake" and allow Frenchie into the competition right now and truly let America decide. This season of Idol is truly the "let all the former rejects back in season" almost all the contestants competing now have auditioned more than once. Why not let Frenchie in.
