31 Jan 2007 (Sawf News and ANI) - In an interview with "Today" show host Matt Lauer scheduled to air on Wednesday, 30 Jan 2007, Tara Connor admitted that she had done cocaine and abused other drugs in the past, reports Page Six.

"I have done cocaine, yeah." Connor said.

"I've tried several different things. But, you know, it's always the same effect," she says. "The more that I get it off my chest, the better I feel about myself. It's not healthy for my recovery to sit here and hold things back."

In another move that may restore some of the lost sheen of her tiara, Connor turned down a proposal to pose nude for playboy after failing to clinch the deal for more than one million dollars.

The controversial beauty queen, who recently completed her stint in a Pennsylvania rehabilitation facility, had been offered the chance to pose for the men's mag. However, though pageant boss Donald Trump negotiated with the magazine, he eventually decided not to conclude the deal.

His office confirmed the news on Tuesday.

"She just didn't feel it was appropriate. She will not be doing Playboy," the New York Daily News quoted Trump's spokeswoman, Rhona Graff, as saying.

Conner, 21, made headlines in December last year when Trump almost made her turn in her tiara over her hard-partying ways, and then relented on the condition that she seek treatment.

Earlier this month, Trump had revealed that Playboy wanted Conner on its cover and that he was considering the proposal. He also said that even if the Kentucky native approved of the magazine offer, she would not pose entirely nude.

Conner is likely to discuss the Playboy offer during a live interview tomorrow with Matt Lauer on NBC's "Today" show.

Although Playboy has yet not commented on the issue, a magazine source said that they do not make such big offers.

Dethroned Miss Nevada Katie Rees, who lost her crown over raunchy photos showing her semi-nude and kissing other women, just cannot believe that Conner had been offered one million dollars deal for baring all.

"A million! I wasn't offered a million dollars. I'm going to hold out," she said.
