And there could have been no better place to start than the Golden Globes after-party which she attended along with pals Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Jennifer Lopez.
Posh spent the night rubbing noses with the likes of Cameron Diaz, Eva Longoria, Courteney Cox-Arquette, Hilary Swank and Nicole Kidman at the Sunset Tower Hotel on Monday night.
However, while a lot of people might have been a bit awed by the star power present in the room, Posh wasn’t one of them, a source revealed.
"Victoria was sipping champagne and looking totally relaxed. She wasn't at all fazed by people staring at her," the Mirror quoted the source, as saying.
And while she certainly generated a lot of interest in the room, it was her footballer husband David Beckham that everyone was keen to know about.
"Everyone was asking when David was coming to LA and saying how much they were looking forward to seeing him play," the source added.
The party was thrown by the Creative Arts Agency, and a source revealed that the crème de la crème had attended. Except, that is, for Beckham’s rapper pal and JLo’s former beau P.Diddy, who was turned away.
"The who's who of celebrity names swept into the party - with new girl in town Victoria Beckham. But he was turned away," a source revealed. (ANI)
