London, Jan 6: The invitations to Elizabeth Hurley and beau Arun Nayar’s March wedding are out, and if the cards are anything to go by, then guests should be expecting to attend an expensive yet classy event.

The couple have chosen a simple thick ivory card to announce their nuptials, which, as the card tells guests, will take place from "Bombay to Rajasthan".

Details about the five-day extravaganza, which is already being touted as the wedding of the year, have been printed in old-fashioned black script.

Kith and kin who are invited have been asked to send their RSVPs using a reply card that has been enclosed with the wedding invitation.

A guest revealed that the invitations are extremely “tasteful”, and that like them, the wedding too is bound to be a lavish, yet “classy” affair.

"It's a very tasteful invitation. And if this is anything to go by, the wedding will be a classy, and expensive, affair. Elizabeth doesn't do anything by halves. There are already all sorts of rumors about what she's planning - but it will definitely be lavish," the Mirror quoted the guest, as saying.

The source also revealed that no expense has been spared for the wedding in India, which will take place after the couple tie the knot in a relatively “quiet” ceremony in the UK on March 3.

"No expense will be spared, with the finest Indian food and drinks laid on for guests. While the UK wedding will be a quiet affair, the Indian celebration will be over-the-top and flamboyant," the source said.

"Liz is hoping that their friends will be able to make all five days. It will certainly be a wedding party to remember," the source added.

Extravagant seems to be just the word for Hurley and Nayar’s wedding in India, for not only will Liz be wearing a 4,000 pound sari by designer Tarun Tahiliani during the traditional ceremony, but guests can also expect to see elephants and white horses. (ANI)
