Washington, Dec 29: When it comes to doing research for her new reality TV show based on the world of a fictional celebrity tabloid, Courtney Cox decided that the best way to get information was by going to the experts themselves – the paparazzi.

As for how she managed this, well when the former ‘Friends’ star spotted a paparazzo trying to click snaps of her and her family while on a trip to Disney Land, she just walked up to him and offered him a deal that he just couldn’t refuse – taking pictures in exchange for information about how the world of tabloids work.

“I came up to him and said, 'Look, you can stay in the park, but I need your phone number and I want to do some research for our show with you and he came into the writer's room and talked,” Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

As for barbs that the show, called ‘Dirt’, is Cox’s way of taking her “revenge” on the tabloids, well that’s a charge that the actress vehemently denies, and insists that the show will probably see the paparazzi flocking around her and not putting them off.

"This is absolutely no revenge on the tabloid media. There's no way really to pay back the paparazzi,” Cox said.

“If anything, it's going to get worse, probably, because if they watch this, I can only imagine it getting worse. I'm not paying anyone back, it's really just a good TV show," the actress added. (ANI)
