Mills, 38, has accused the former Beatles legend of being domineering, abusive and frequently high on drugs.
The claims are detailed in divorce papers lodged by the former model, who alleges that Sir Paul beat her while she was pregnant, choked her, stabbed her with a broken wine glass and pushed her into a bath.
However, even while Sir Paul's spokesman has refused to comment on this issue, sources say the 64-year-old musician has denied the allegations and will contest them.
“He denies the claims completely and cannot believe he would ever be accused of such behavior. He’s absolutely furious. He only ever cared for her,” The Mirror quoted an insider, as saying.
Friends say Sir Paul was “shocked and devastated” when he heard the accusations last night.
“He won’t let this go without a fight, he’s fuming,” Sir Paul’s pal said.(ANI)
