Washington, Oct. 14: Rocker Ozzy Osbourne’s wife Sharon Osbourne has blasted TV networks in the US for having wanted her to become another big shot like Oprah Winfrey, when she first attempted her chat show career.
Her chat ran for one year only, and was cancelled in 2004 due to poor ratings and criticism over its strong focus on the Osbourne family.
"I got a reputation for being a bit of a loose cannon who would ask crazy questions. "And I did this thing in bed, which I stole from Paula Yates (late British TV presenter), who I idolized,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"The networks were absolutely petrified (of me). I'll never be bloody Oprah Winfrey!" she said.
Sharon, who is the mother-of-three, launched a UK version of her show on British network ITV in August this year. (ANI)
