© AFP/File Jean-Pierre MullerPARIS (AFP) - Philo, who joined Chloe in 1997, took over the position as creative director from Stella McCartney in 2001 when she was just 27.
In a statement released on Thursday by Chloe, Philo thanked the house for giving her "the opportunity to blossom as a designer," adding she was "proud to have worked alongside such talented people."
Chloe has not yet named her replacement, and the next collection will be a team effort by Chloe designers.
Philo was born in Paris in 1973, but grew up in London. She graduated from the St Martin's School of Art, where she became great friends with McCartney.
