July 29, 2008 (Sawf News) - Gossip Girl star, Leighton Meester, riveted attention in a flirty Brian Reyes LBD with black strappy heels at the New York City premiere of 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2' at Ziegfeld Theatre on July 28.

Her rich brown shoulder length hair left open looked perfect making her dimpled smile even more mischievous. She never goes wrong with her make up and last evening was no exception! She accessorized with a black chunky ring on her right hand index finger.
The film, a sequel to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005), stars America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel and Blake Lively. It is directed by Sanaa Hamri.
Meester, 22, who plays Blair Waldorf in the Gossip Girl was spotted leaving the event with a mystery man.
She has been doing pretty well for herself having been named by Vanity Fair as one of today's hot young thing in its August issue, along with Jessica Szohr, Penn Badgley, Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick and Taylor Momsen. She also made it to the cover of Lucky magazine as TV's best dressed new star.
Meester, who appeared in season one of Entourage as Justine Chapin, will reprise her role in season five, appearing in at least one episode in the first half of the season. Season five of the show is set to premiere in September.
A native of Marco Island, Florida, Meester moved with her family to New York City when she was 11 and soon after began working as a model with Wilhelmina, booking a Ralph Lauren campaign shot by Bruce Webber and working with then-photographer Sofia Coppola. She later graduated to TV starting with Law & Order in 1999.
