June 5, 2008 (Sawf News) - Ultimo has picked Spice girl Melanie Brown as their new face and body, and since it is bras that they sell, we think they have at least two good reasons why.
Melanie visited three stores in London on Wednesday, June 5, 2008 to promote the brand, and by all reckoning did a pretty good job of it.
Ultimo brand owner Michele Mone admits that she picked Melanie for the job after seeing her in a bikini in a paparazzi photo.
"Mel B is the biggest star Ultimo has ever signed and I am excited that this will take the brand onto another level," said Mone.
"I saw a picture of her in a bikini in Miami and had to sign her for Ultimo," she added.

Mone paid Melanie a cool $1 million to front the Ultimo campaign.
Melanie, 33, is not just buxom she is pretty busy too.
Professionally, she is working on a new album that she hopes to release by the end of this year.
She also has her own reality show with Joey Fatone - The Singing Office- in production for TLC. Premiering in June, 2008 the show will pit Brown and Fatone against each other to identify the best singing talent in typical American offices.
Brown and her producer husband, Stephen Belafonte, are executive producers.
At home Melanie stays busy bringing up her two daughters - Phoenix Chi, 9, from first husband Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar and Angel Iris, 1, from Eddie Murphy.
