© AFP/Getty Images/FileLondon, Apr 7 (ANI): Naomi Campbell is proving to be very lucky for Christian Louboutin, for though she wore the boots he created when she showed up for her community service, they are now in big demand thanks to her.
Louboutin is now being flooded with requests for the pair of stilettos worth 650 pounds, and is busy making more than a 1,000 pairs.
Campbell revealed that though she was wearing a Ralph Lauren coat the first day she turned up for community service, it was the boots that garnered all the attention.
“On my first day I wore a Ralph Lauren coat, a cashmere shawl and Christian Louboutin boots. Christian got twelve hundred orders from that day,” the Sun quoted her, as saying.
Campbell also revealed that though Louboutin had not been interested in making any more boots similar to hers, getting 1200 orders changed his mind very quickly.
“He wasn’t going to make those boots — now he is,” she added.
The British supermodel also insisted that the only reason she turned up covered in labels and not normal work clothes, was because officials ruled that her limo must drop her off outside the designated work place.
“It wasn’t planned but then I was told I had to walk past the cameras,” she said. (ANI)
